Gifts directed to children's health research support medical breakthroughs in a number of pediatric specialty areas:

UPF Scholars Fund
Each year the University Pediatrics Foundation presents the University Pediatrics Foundation Scholar Award to a junior researcher in the Department of Pediatrics. This annual award provides $150,000 in funding over a two-year period, offering an unparalleled opportunity for promising young pediatricians to launch their research careers.
International Programs
Gifts to the University Pediatrics Foundation also support programs for children from around the world:

- International Adoption Clinic (global infections, faculty exchange program, international adoptions)
University of Minnesota Children's Hospital, Fairview
Early next year, the University of Minnesota Children's Hospital, Fairview, will break ground on a brand-new facility for the hospital. Its state-of-the-art design will enhance clinical care, provide a family-centered environment, and make it easier for physicians and researchers to take new knowledge from the lab directly to the bedside.
Unrestricted: Education, Retention, Recruitment, and Equipment
Unrestricted gifts are used as needed, as determined by the University Pediatrics Foundation board and medical advisory committee.
